Community Report Cards

This past week the Portland Area non-food workers went to fight on two fronts. First was the bargaining committee that attended the two day bargaining session that produced no real movement. No new proposals were exchanged. Second were community and member delegations that visited two Fred Meyer stores. These delegations delivered a community report card on how Fred Meyer (Kroger) rates in different areas, such as: quality of products, workers rights, wages, and following National Labor Law.
