Health Care Updates

UFCW Local 555 recognizes that our membership is diverse.  The people and the industries we represent.  Because of this we have set up a special section of our bargaining website to focus on the Health Care Industry.

Within this section you will find information devoted to your industry, Health Care.

  • Bay Area Hospital Updates   ( 6 Articles )

The current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) is set to expire on December 31, 2008. The Union and the Hospital have agreed to do Interest Based Bargaining (IBB) to reach a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. As part of the Interest Based Bargaining (IBB) process we have agreed to do joint communications that are drafted at the end of each set of bargaining dates.

You will be able to track the progress of the bargaining and stay informed on the issues confronting us in reaching a new agreement. IBB process is a less confrontational way of bargaining where both sides work together by keeping the others interests in mind as they suggest ideas to resolve the others interest.

  • Legacy Emanuel Updates   ( 5 Articles )
